Affiliate Disclosure

Last Updated: April 25, 2026

Pack-for.com is supported by our readers. This page explains how affiliate links work on our Site, in accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, the EU Consumer Protection Cooperation Regulation, and similar transparency requirements worldwide.

Quick summary: Pack-for.com participates in affiliate programs. Many of the outbound product links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.

1. What Are Affiliate Links?

An affiliate link is a special tracking URL that allows a retailer to identify that you visited their website from pack-for.com. If you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase within the retailer's tracking window (typically 1 to 90 days, depending on the retailer), the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale as a commission.

Affiliate links never increase the price you pay. The commission is paid by the retailer out of their marketing budget — never by you.

2. Affiliate Networks and Programs We Participate In

Pack-for.com is a participant in (or has applied to participate in) the following affiliate programs and networks. This list is not exhaustive and may change over time:

  • Amazon Associates Program — As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon, the Amazon logo, AmazonSupply, and the AmazonSupply logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
  • Impact (impact.com) — partnerships with brands such as Adidas, Patagonia, Lululemon, Tumi, Samsonite, Calpak, YETI, Hoka, Allbirds, and others.
  • Awin — partnerships with brands such as Nike (UK/EU), Vuori, Lululemon (UK/Ireland), Etsy, Under Armour, and many others, particularly across Europe.
  • CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) — partnerships with brands such as Nike (US), Backcountry, Moosejaw, Asics, J.Crew, Free People, and others.
  • Rakuten Advertising — partnerships with brands such as Nordstrom, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Net-a-Porter, Mr Porter, MyTheresa, and others.
  • FlexOffers — partnerships with brands such as Allbirds, The North Face, Vuori, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's, and Anthropologie.
  • Skimlinks and Sovrn Commerce — automatic affiliate-link networks that monetize outbound product links across thousands of retailers.
  • AvantLink — partnerships with outdoor brands such as REI, Tortuga, Osprey, and others.
  • Webgains, TradeDoubler, TradeTracker, Daisycon — primarily European affiliate networks.
  • Direct in-house affiliate programs — operated by individual brands.

3. How We Choose What to Recommend

Our editorial integrity is the foundation of pack-for.com. We only recommend products we believe will be genuinely useful to our readers. Our process:

  • Editorial independence: No brand pays us to feature their products in our destination guides or recommendation lists. Affiliate participation does not influence whether or where a product appears on the Site.
  • Affiliate participation does not influence rankings: A brand offering a higher commission does not get a better placement, ranking, or coverage on the Site.
  • Non-affiliate recommendations: We sometimes recommend products from brands that do not have affiliate programs. These are featured purely on merit, with no commercial benefit to us.
  • Editorial discretion: We reserve the right to remove any product or brand from the Site at any time if we no longer believe it serves our readers.

4. How Affiliate Tracking Works

When you click an affiliate link on pack-for.com, the destination retailer (or their affiliate network) places a small tracking cookie in your browser. This cookie identifies us as the referring website. If you complete a qualifying purchase within the cookie's tracking window, we receive a commission report.

We do not receive personally identifying information about you, your purchase amount, or the items you bought as an individual. We typically receive only aggregate, anonymized statistics: total clicks, total conversions, and total commissions earned per merchant.

For details about cookies, see our Cookie Policy.

5. Identification of Affiliate Content

Where required and where reasonable, we identify affiliate links and sponsored content on the Site. Examples include:

  • This site-wide Affiliate Disclosure page
  • A short reminder near the top of articles that contain affiliate links
  • Clear labeling of any sponsored or paid content (we do not currently publish sponsored content; if we do in the future, it will be clearly marked as such)

6. Geographic Considerations

Because affiliate program structures differ between countries, you may be redirected to a different version of a retailer's website depending on your location. For example, a click on a fashion brand link from the United Kingdom may take you to the brand's UK store, while the same click from the United States may take you to its US store. The price, currency, shipping, and product availability will reflect the retailer's policies for your country.

7. No Endorsement of Third-Party Sites

The presence of an affiliate link on the Site is not an endorsement of the retailer's policies, products, or business practices generally. We are not responsible for product quality, shipping, returns, customer service, or any other aspect of your transaction with a third-party retailer. Please review the retailer's terms of service, privacy policy, and shipping/return policies before completing a purchase.

8. Earnings Disclaimer

Pack-for.com generates revenue through affiliate commissions and may also display advertising (including through Google AdSense or similar networks). Without these revenue sources, we would not be able to provide free content to our readers. Thank you for supporting independent travel and fashion content by using our links when you shop.

9. FTC Compliance Statement

This disclosure is provided pursuant to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255: Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising. Our material connection to the brands and retailers featured on the Site consists solely of affiliate commissions. We are not employees, owners, or paid spokespersons of any brand we recommend.
